"Thank you for your interest in Volunteering with The Footprints Family. Unfortunately, due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, we are currently unable to accept any Volunteers onto the Footprints Family site. However, as soon as it is possible to re-open our volunteer programme, we look forward to hearing from you and, once this is possible, one of our Volunteer Administration Committee members will liaise directly with you to progress your application. We thank you for your patience and your continued support of our charity"

Volunteer at The Footprints Family
Have you thought about volunteering? Well here at Footprints you really could make a difference, returning home after a life changing experience.
Footprints will welcome you to use your skills, time and love, to support our vulnerable children who thrive on interaction.
You can help them to improve their English and enrich their lives. There is always plenty to do- cooking, painting, growing food, tending the animals and of course playing with the children.
Come along and experience life at Footprints with like minded people. We are looking for people to volunteer throughout the year but also at specific points, please follow our volunteers news board for these specific windows.
**All candidates will be DBS checked** For more information on volunteering, please contact Mel via the form below.
What's it like?
The Footprints Family welcomes volunteers to stay with us in Kenya for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. Volunteers will experience life in rural Kenya and get to know the local people and culture. They are able to make a real and positive impact to the children's lives through their support, teaching and care.
Watch Jo Hastings video and take a look at some of our visitors stories.

Visit us whilst in Kenya
for a Day to Remember
Let us show you a slice of the 'real' Kenya during your holiday.
If you are staying in the Diani area on holiday we welcome you to visit The Footprints Family for the day.
After you have driven the one hour journey up into the rural Shimba Hills, passing beautiful scenery and small villages along the way. Mama Kerry & the children will show you around their home, where you will meet our 'family' and learn about every day life. See how we overcome the challenges of our rural location, where for the majority of our surrounding community, there is no mains electricity or water supply.
You will be offered a traditional Kenyan lunch and the afternoon can be spent interacting with our family before you make your way back to your hotel.
We ask for a donation of 2000 Kenyan Shillings (approx £15 GBP) per person to cover the cost of "The Footprints Family" experience, which includes your traditional Kenyan lunch.
If you would like to visit The Footprints Family for the day, please contact us on the form below.
